hey ya'll!

seems like house parties are going off all over the place this year. i'd like to thank everyone who came out to the 3 house parties we had this year, (Housewarm-A-Homo, WAM-BAM, WAM-BAM 420:Edition, & Summer Session), but we're not gonna leave 2007 without having ONE MORE!

Sarah & I are FINALLY getting our own place. we got approved for a one-bedroom apartment in Vista for only $695. we got kinda lucky because the people who were originally gonna get that place, ended up bouncing their deposit check, so we were next in line


there are many things we'd like to celebrate at this event:
1)Thanking the SDR & EDM community for supporting our small-scale events.
2)our unborn son, Noah Robert Owens, who will be coming out around a month after this event.
3)Moving in to our own place.
4)the beautiful autumn season


so, on sunday, October 14th, we'd like to invite YOU (i mean everyone), into our home one more time for one last event......*ROMPERROOM*
party will go from 4pm-2am or later.

we will have technics, a behringer mixer, and speakers to rock the house. i'm working on CDJs for those DJs who wanna use your compact discs.
we're gonna be transforming our pad into a playplace for you to come relax, get your drink on, and shake your booty.
we also have a nice porch and a big front yard if anyone feels like being outdoors and getting some fresh air while still enjoying the party & music.

feel welcome to bring anything to drink or cook. (we'll have a BBQ)
we'll have free beer until it runs out, so come early. (don't worry, i'm going to buy at least a few cases, and not the cheap stuff either. prolly Newcastle, Corona, Guiness.....any requests?)

but yeah....i went to Romperroom one time. it was upstairs in some loft. one of the first rave-type clubs i ever been to.


never been to micro-rave that you're speaking of, but back in the mid-90s, i threw a series of house parties in the summer of '95 that i called Micro-raves.

god I remember how fucking hot Micro-rave was. At least the one I went to. I remember thinking about how appropriate the name was I think it was in some mexican restaurant somewhere. I dunno that was a long ass time ago
