Not sure how many people here actually listen to pop/rock... but what are you currently into?

One of my new favs I think is P!nk. Which is funny cause I used to hate her. But yeah her newest CD is bumpin hah. I rock out to that shit in my car all the time haha.

Owl City is a group I've recently gotten into. I think they've been around for a while tho.. they kinda remind me of postal service/Death Cab. Good shit

Yeah his vocals are really good. Mostly like elec tracks that he does vocals in.. or remixes of his songs. Tho I'll admit I like Sexy Back. I DLed that album but didn't really get into it.

Ill try and keep this short and relative to the last few years:

-Frightened Rabbit - "The Midnight Organ Fight" (my current obsession. Socttish folk rock, *epic* breakup album, floors me every time I listen to it)

-Pomplamoose - "VideoSongs" (my current musical crush. poppy duo. Check their album or their original songs, but these guys are meant to be experienced on youtube, both their original and cover songs, its really awesome how they create their music/videos, a process they call VideoSongs, which means that they record (with video) all of the tracks they lay down for their songs, and then cut the videos in such a way that everything you hear int eh song is featured in the video, from the recorded track it was taken from. Kinda hard to explain, so just go watch a couple of the vids. http://www.youtube.com/user/PomplamooseMusic)

-TV On The Radio - "Return To Cookie Mountain" (my favorite album of the last 5 years or so)

-Andrew Bird - "...and the mysterious production of eggs." (amazing violinist, former member of the squirrel nut zippers, also one of my favorite albums of the last 5 years or so)

-Murder By Death - "Who Will Survive and What Will Be Left Of Them?" and "Red of Tooth & Claw" (totally not a thrash/death/noise band like the name would suggest. I describe them as Whiskey Fueled Wild West Punk Saloon Rock. Really heavy stuff. Totally awesome.

-The Bird And The Bee - "Rayguns are not just the future" (sorta spacey/loungy poppy indieish stuff with a twist of electronica. Very sweet and very melodic).

Like the Exorcist, but with More Breakdancing is a great album.
